CHEST
Tricep Push Up
The tricep push-up is a bodyweight press that keeps the elbows tucked tight to the body. That narrow arm path shifts more of the work onto the triceps while still hitting the chest and shoulders. It's an easy way to build pressing strength anywhere.
How to do it
- 1
Lie face-down with legs extended and hands just outside your lower chest.
- 2
Keep your elbows tucked against your ribs.
- 3
Press up to a straight line from shoulders to heels, arms fully extended.
- 4
Bend your elbows, keeping them close to your sides, to lower your chest toward the floor.
- 5
Keep your hips level and core braced so your body stays in one line, then press back up.
