A shoulder and chest isolation move where light dumbbells travel in a big circular arc around the body. The wide sweeping path challenges shoulder mobility and stability while keeping the chest engaged, so keep the weight light and the motion smooth.
How to do it

Lie back on a bench with your feet planted under your knees.

Hold a light dumbbell in each hand down by your hips with palms facing up.
- 3
Sweep the dumbbells out and around in a wide horizontal arc up toward an overhead position, keeping a slight elbow bend.
- 4
Reverse the same arc to bring them back down beside your hips.
- 5
Keep the movement slow and controlled throughout.
