A standing chest exercise where you press a pair of weight plates together and push them out in front of you. The constant squeeze keeps the chest under tension the whole way, making it a great finisher for dialing in chest activation and the mind-muscle connection.

How to do it

    Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart.

  2. 2

    Press two light plates flat together between your palms at mid-chest, just below shoulder height.

  3. 3

    Keep squeezing the plates together as you extend your arms straight out in front of your chest.

  4. 4

    Stay upright and bend your elbows to draw the plates back to your chest.

  5. 5

    Repeat, maintaining the squeeze throughout every rep.
