CHEST

Partner Wheelbarrow Push Up

BeginnerBodyweight

This partner push-up has one person holding your legs off the ground while you press. Supporting your lower body puts more load on the chest, shoulders, and triceps, and the raised legs demand extra core control to hold a straight line throughout.

How to do it

  1. 1

Partner 1 gets into a high plank with hands under the shoulders and a slight bend in the elbows.

  2. 2

Partner 2 stands just behind Partner 1's feet.

  3. 3

Partner 1 lifts each leg in turn so Partner 2 can grab the ankles.

  4. 4

Partner 2 holds the ankles at waist height, adjusting for a comfortable position.

  5. 5

Partner 1 keeps the core tight and lowers into a push-up with control.

  6. 6

Partner 1 presses back up, then partners switch roles after the reps.
