CHEST

Loop Band Single Arm Incline Chest Press

BeginnerResistance band

A single-arm incline press with a loop band anchored low behind you. Pressing on one side ramps up the core demand, since you have to resist rotating toward the working arm, while the incline angle emphasizes the upper chest and shoulders.

How to do it

  1. 1

Anchor one band at about knee height behind you.

  2. 2

Turn so your back faces the anchor and grab the band in one hand.

  3. 3

Stagger your stance with one foot forward and brace your core hard.

  4. 4

Lean slightly forward with your elbow back and out and your hand at chest height.

  5. 5

Exhale and press the band forward and upward toward the ceiling.

  6. 6

Return under control while keeping your torso square, then finish the set and switch sides.
