CHEST
Leg Raise With Dumbbell Pull Over
A combination move that pairs a leg raise with a dumbbell pull-over, engaging the core, lats, shoulders, and chest. Doing both actions at the same time challenges your coordination and core stability, making it a strong pick for functional strength and endurance.
How to do it
- 1
Grip the top of one dumbbell in a diamond grip.
- 2
Lie back on a flat bench, resting the dumbbell on your chest.
- 3
Engage your core to raise your legs and point the soles of your feet toward the ceiling.
- 4
Press the dumbbell up over your head, arms roughly vertical and palms up.
- 5
Keeping your back and hips on the bench, lower your arms and legs in arcs toward the floor at the same time.
- 6
Pause at the bottom, then reverse both movements to return to the start.
