An incline press where you squeeze two dumbbells together throughout the movement. The incline shifts focus to the upper chest and shoulders, while the constant inward pressure keeps the chest loaded the entire rep, building strength and size up top.

How to do it

    Set a bench to a 45-degree incline and hold two dumbbells with palms facing each other, resting them on your chest.

    Press the dumbbells firmly together and extend your arms straight up over your chest.

  3. 3

    Keep squeezing them together as you lower back to the start.

  4. 4

    Focus on the inward squeeze rather than the weight itself.

  5. 5

    Repeat for your target reps, keeping the dumbbells pressed together throughout.
