CHEST
Exercise Ball Push Up
A push-up done with your hands on a stability ball, turning a familiar move into a balance challenge. The wobbly surface forces the chest, triceps, and core to work harder to keep you steady. A good progression once flat push-ups feel routine.
How to do it
- 1
Place your hands on the outer edge of a stability ball with your fingers pointing outward.
- 2
Lift your knees so your body forms a straight line from heels to shoulders, and hold that line.
- 3
Bend your elbows to lower your chest toward the ball, keeping your elbows around 45 degrees from your torso.
- 4
Once your chest lightly touches the top of the ball, press back up to full arm extension.
- 5
Keep your core tight throughout to control the ball, then repeat.
