This curl swaps external weight for your own bodyweight, using suspension straps as the resistance. Because your feet position sets the load, you can dial the difficulty up or down instantly and even adjust mid-set. Keeping the elbows high and the body straight turns it into a biceps and core exercise in one.

How to do it

    Face the anchor point and grip the handles with palms up, arms extended.

    Walk your feet forward so your body leans back at an angle beneath the handles, feet shoulder-width apart.

  3. 3

    Brace your core to hold a straight line from heels to shoulders.

  4. 4

    Keeping your elbows up and in front of your shoulders, bend your arms to pull the handles toward your forehead.

  5. 5

    Curl until your forearms nearly touch your biceps, then lower back to the start under control.
