Cable Double Bicep Curl

BeginnerCable

The cable double biceps curl uses two shoulder-height pulleys so you curl both handles inward toward your head at once. The cables provide steady tension and stop a stronger arm from dominating, while the unusual overhead arm angle offers a fresh way to hit the biceps.

How to do it

  1. 1

Set both cable anchors to about shoulder height and stand upright between them.

  2. 2

Grip a handle in each hand with your palms facing up and arms out to the sides.

  3. 3

Contract your biceps to curl both handles in an arc toward your head.

  4. 4

Squeeze at the top of the movement.

  5. 5

Return the handles slowly to the start, keeping tension on the biceps.
