Loop Band Standing Tricep Extension

A standing triceps isolation that uses a loop band anchored under both feet to create resistance as you extend overhead. It builds triceps strength and tone without any weights, and you can dial the tension up or down by choosing a heavier or lighter band.

How to do it

    Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart and toes turned slightly out.

  2. 2

    Trap the band under the middle of both feet.

  3. 3

    Grab the free end with both hands and, bracing your core, bring it up overhead.

  4. 4

    Bend your elbows to lower the band behind your head into the start position.

  5. 5

    Exhale and straighten your arms, driving the band up toward the ceiling.

  6. 6

    Inhale and return the band behind your head under control.
