TRAPS
Smith Machine Upright Row
An upright row on the Smith machine, where the fixed bar path keeps your form honest and reduces the chance of the bar drifting. It builds the shoulders and traps and is a good option if you want extra stability.
How to do it
- 1
Stand tall and unhook the Smith bar with straight arms, grip shoulder width, bar resting on your thighs.
- 2
Keeping the bar close and moving straight up, drive your elbows toward the ceiling.
- 3
Maintain a neutral spine throughout.
- 4
Once the bar reaches chest height, lower it back down to the start.
