TRX Squat and Row
A combo movement that pairs a squat with a rowing pull, hitting the lower body along with the back and shoulders in one rep. Working both ends of the body at once makes it time-efficient and builds strength plus stability across multiple muscle groups. A friendly full-body option for beginners on the TRX.
How to do it
- 1
Hold the TRX handles with straight arms, palms in, leaning back so your body is angled toward the floor, facing the anchor with the straps extended.
- 2
Set your feet just outside shoulder-width with toes slightly out.
- 3
Keep your weight balanced across both feet throughout.
- 4
Sit your hips back into a squat, letting your knees track out over your toes while you brace to keep a neutral spine.
- 5
Squat to a depth that keeps you neutral, then stand up and pull your elbows back past your sides until the handles reach your torso.
- 6
Return to the start and repeat.
