TRX Sprinter Start
A bodyweight drill built to mimic the first explosive step of a sprint. Leaning into the TRX straps, you drive one leg into the ground while punching the opposite knee up and out, exactly the action that powers acceleration. Great for anyone wanting to improve their start speed from a standstill.
How to do it
- 1
Face away from the anchor with one foot forward, the straps under your armpits and the handles held outside your torso.
- 2
Lean back onto the rear foot to build momentum.
- 3
Step forward onto the front foot while driving the opposite knee up toward your chest.
- 4
Return to the start and repeat, then switch sides.
- 5
Adjust your distance from the anchor to set the right resistance for your ability.
