QUADS
TRX Balance Lunge
A single-leg lunge that uses TRX straps to keep your rear leg suspended and help you balance. Working on one leg with the trailing foot in the air adds instability that challenges the quads while the straps steady you.
How to do it
- 1
Stand on one leg and grip the TRX handles at shoulder height with elbows bent.
- 2
Bend your standing knee to lower into a lunge, keeping the other leg lifted and extending your arms.
- 3
Descend until the raised knee nearly touches the floor.
- 4
Return to standing and repeat on the other side.
- 5
Adjust where you stand relative to the anchor to set the right amount of support.
