QUADS
Burpee Broad Jump
This exercise chains a full burpee into an explosive forward leap, hitting the chest, shoulders, quads and just about everything in between. The broad jump on the end turns a conditioning move into a power and plyometric drill. It's a demanding full-body finisher that spikes your heart rate fast.
How to do it
- 1
Start standing with your feet about hip-width apart.
- 2
Plant your hands outside your feet and jump both legs back into a plank.
- 3
Bend your elbows to bring your chest to the floor, then press up and hop your feet back to your hands.
- 4
Stand up, then dip into a quarter squat and jump forward as far as you can.
- 5
Land softly with bent knees.
- 6
Reset and repeat for your target reps.
