Balance Trainer TRX Pistol Squats
A pistol squat made far harder by standing on a balance trainer dome while holding the TRX straps. You lower on one leg as the other extends in front, testing single-leg strength, balance, and flexibility all at once. The instability sharpens proprioception, making this a genuinely advanced lower-body challenge.
How to do it
- 1
Stand on one foot atop the balance trainer dome, holding the suspension handles in front and lifting the opposite knee.
- 2
Slowly bend the standing knee into a single-leg squat while extending the lifted leg out in front.
- 3
Pull gently on the handles for support as you descend under control.
- 4
Press back up through the standing leg to standing.
- 5
Complete your reps on one side, then switch.
- 6
Stay tall with a braced core throughout.
