Balance Trainer Goblet Squat

A goblet squat done while balancing on a BOSU dome with a kettlebell held at the chest. Adding an unstable base to a loaded squat ramps up the demand on your quads, glutes and core to keep you steady. A good way to blend functional balance with real strength and muscle work.

How to do it

    Stand on top of the dome with a hip-width stance and level feet.

  2. 2

    Hold a kettlebell with both hands in front of your chest.

  3. 3

    Bend your hips, knees and ankles to lower into a comfortable-depth squat.

  4. 4

    Pause at the bottom, staying balanced on the dome.

  5. 5

    Press back up to a tall standing position.

  6. 6

    Keep your chest lifted and your core braced throughout.
