Balance Trainer Alternating Lunge Jumps

An explosive lunge that has you jumping and switching legs in the air, landing the front foot on a BOSU dome. The unstable landing demands sharp control while the jump builds power and conditioning through the legs. Best suited to more advanced trainees who already own a steady lunge.

How to do it

    Stand behind the balance trainer and set one foot on top of the dome.

  2. 2

    Bend both knees into a comfortable-depth lunge.

  3. 3

    Jump straight up, switching your leg positions in the air.

  4. 4

    Land with the opposite foot on the dome, sinking back into a lunge.

  5. 5

    Keep alternating, matching your depth and range on both legs.

  6. 6

    Stay tall through the spine and keep your core locked in.
