FOREARMS
Palms-Up Barbell Wrist Curl
A forearm isolation exercise targeting the wrist flexors with a barbell. Pinning your forearms to the bench isolates the wrist movement, and the single bar keeps both sides loaded evenly for a stable curl.
How to do it
- 1
Kneel tall facing the side of a bench.
- 2
Rest your forearms on the bench, parallel to each other, wrists off the far edge.
- 3
Take the barbell underhand so your palms face up, getting set before you begin or having a partner hand it over.
- 4
Keeping your forearms on the bench, curl the bar upward by flexing your wrists.
- 5
Lower it back down to the start.
