Dumbbell Underhand Front Raise
The underhand front raise targets the front of the shoulder, and flipping to a supinated grip shifts the emphasis slightly compared to a standard front raise. That small change hits the delt from a different angle and adds useful variety to shoulder training. It's a straightforward isolation move for building front-delt strength and size.
How to do it
- 1
Hold a dumbbell in each hand at arm's length by your sides with an underhand grip, palms facing forward.
- 2
Keep a slight bend in your elbows.
- 3
Raise both dumbbells forward at a steady pace until they reach shoulder height.
- 4
Lower them back down under control.
- 5
Repeat for your target reps.
