Torture Twist
The Torture Twist is a demanding take on the Russian twist performed on a glute-ham bench. Anchoring your legs and holding your upper body out parallel to the floor forces the core to work overtime through each rotation. This is an advanced move best saved for once the basics are solid.
How to do it

Sit on the hip pads of a glute-ham bench and lock your feet into the foot pads.

Lower your torso until it forms a straight line with your legs.
- 3
Clasp your hands together in front of your abdomen.
- 4
Rotate your shoulders and torso to one side, keeping your body in line with your legs.
- 5
Rotate through to the other side, staying level and controlled throughout.
