Stability Ball Seated Twist

IntermediateStability ball

A seated rotation done on a stability ball, which adds a balance element while you twist a weight to each side. It works the obliques and core while improving spinal mobility and control.

How to do it

  1. 1

Sit on a stability ball holding a weight plate in both hands.

  2. 2

Hold the plate out in front of you with a slight bend in your elbows.

  3. 3

Twist slowly to one side, keeping your core engaged and back straight.

  4. 4

Pause for a moment at the end of the rotation.

  5. 5

Return to center under control, then repeat to the other side, keeping your chest up throughout.
