Plank Hip Dip

BeginnerBodyweight

A forearm plank with a rotating hip dip added, which brings movement into an otherwise static hold. Dipping the hips low to each side draws in the obliques and builds core stability and strength.

How to do it

  1. 1

Set your elbows under your shoulders and lift into a forearm plank, straight from shoulders to heels.

  2. 2

Rotate your hips down toward one side in a circular motion until your hip nears the floor.

  3. 3

Return to the neutral plank position.

  4. 4

Repeat to the opposite side and keep alternating.
