Partner Sit Up Hi-Five

This partner drill turns the sit-up into an interactive core exercise, adding a high-five with a slight twist at the top of each rep. The twist brings in the obliques while the shared rhythm helps with motivation and coordination. A fun way to train core strength together.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Sit facing your partner with knees bent and feet flat, close enough to reach each other.

  2. 2

    Both partners brace their cores and lower slowly to the floor.

  3. 3

    Curl back up using your abs.

  4. 4

    At the top, twist slightly and high-five each other with one hand.

  5. 5

    Switch which hand you high-five with on each rep and continue for the set.
