Pallof Press
A standing anti-rotation press where you push a cable handle out while it tries to rotate you. It builds core and oblique stability, and carries over to better posture and a more resilient lower back.
How to do it

Stand with feet hip-width apart, side-on to a cable machine a couple of feet away.

With the cable at shoulder height, grab the handle with both hands and hold it at the center of your chest, feeling the tension.

Brace your core and press your arms straight out, keeping the handle centered without letting it drift.
- 4
Bend your elbows to bring the handle back to your chest.
- 5
Finish your reps, then turn around and repeat facing the other way.
