ABS

Handle Band Crunch

BeginnerResistance band

A kneeling crunch driven by a resistance band anchored overhead, giving you adjustable load on the abs. The banded resistance keeps the movement controlled and builds core strength and definition.

How to do it

  1. 1

Loop a resistance band over a pull-up bar or high anchor and kneel facing away from it.

  2. 2

Grip the band handles at shoulder height with palms forward, leaning your torso forward to about 45 degrees.

  3. 3

Curl your torso down toward the floor by flexing at the hips, keeping the band beside your shoulders.

  4. 4

Return to the starting position under control.

  5. 5

Repeat for your reps, keeping the tension on the band throughout.
