This move fuses a crunch with a knee tuck, so your upper and lower body curl toward each other at once. Because you only lift your shoulder blades rather than your whole torso, the abs stay under constant tension.
How to do it

Lie flat on your back with arms stretched overhead and legs extended along the floor.

Pull your knees toward your chest while lifting your shoulders and swinging your arms forward.

Squeeze at the top and hold for a moment.

Lower your legs and shoulders back down slowly, keeping tension in your abs.

Keep your hips and lower back in contact with the floor throughout.
