Mini Loop Band Kneeling Row

BeginnerResistance band

A single-arm row from a half-kneeling stance using a mini loop band under your foot. Working one side at a time adds instability that evens out strength differences between sides. The band's tension rises as you pull, so the back works hardest at the finish of each rep.

How to do it

  1. 1

Drop into a half-kneeling position with your left knee down and right foot forward.

  2. 2

Pin the band under your right foot and grip it with your right hand, arm extended down by your side.

  3. 3

Drive your right elbow back past your side until your fist reaches your torso.

  4. 4

Focus on pulling with your elbow, not your hand, to load the back.

  5. 5

Control the band back to the starting position.

  6. 6

Finish your reps, then switch sides, keeping your back flat and core braced throughout.
