Loop Band Bent Over Row

BeginnerResistance band

A bent-over row using a loop band under the feet, working the back, shoulders and biceps. Band tension climbs as you pull, so it loads hardest at the top where the shoulder blades draw together. The adjustable resistance makes it adaptable to any strength level and easy to do anywhere.

How to do it

  1. 1

Stand with feet shoulder-width apart on the band, gripping an end in each hand.

  2. 2

Push your hips back with knees bent until your torso is around 45 degrees; hold this position throughout.

  3. 3

Row by driving your elbows up past your sides, squeezing your shoulder blades together at the top.

  4. 4

Control the band back to the start at a steady pace.

  5. 5

Repeat for the set, keeping your back flat.
